Honey calcite is a mineral consisting of calcium, carbon and oxygen and is found in igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. As natural waters contain dissolved calcium and carbon dioxide, precipitation of these minerals can become deposited in veins or cracks of rocks and form calcite crystals.
