Cleansing:

Selenite cleansing plates are used to charge your crystals and jewellery by cleansing and clearing the negative energy that they have absorbed and replacing it with clear, positive energy. As selenite is the ultimate cleansing crystal as it is pure and unaffected by other energies. Perform a cleansing ritual of your home or space whenever you feel the need to remove unwanted or unhelpful energies that are lingering. To allow the selenite to remove confused thoughts and bring clarity of mind, hold the selenite to your heart and allow it to cleanse away unwanted emotional stability. Note: Never expose to water as it will permanently damage the crystal.

Clearing:

If your child is scared of the dark, give them a selenite crystal to carry or place by their bed. The selenite is said to hold the light of the moon that will shine on them and keep them safe as they sleep. Selenite is also said to clear the higher Chakras of blockages (conscious or unconscious).

Selenite is a hydrated form of calcium sulfate (meaning it contains water). It is a variety of gypsum which is a naturally occurring mineral found in layers of sedimentary rock all over the world. Generally, selenite is formed by the evaporation and replenishment of water containing calcium and sulfates.

Feng Shui:

In Feng Shui, selenite is believed to purify your mind, body and home. As it is also known as an 'emotional cleanser', selenite gives off high level vibrations and promotes positive energy within a room or home. In Feng Shui, selenite can be placed anywhere in the home to clear or move energy in areas that are blocked. It is also said to be able to amplify energy within other crystals, if placed with them.

Selenite is also said to align the spine and is good for the skeleton in Feng Shui, promoting increased flexibility, strength, insight, business and healing. Can be beneficial in relieving stress as it calms and soothes.
