As aventurine is the crystal of the heart chakra, it is said to attract romance. Aventurine is also said to cleanse ones energy field, assist in healing old emotional wounds while also simultaneously opening us up to receive more love. Aventurine forms in either igneous rocks or environments with geothermal waters. In igneous rocks, it forms as magma is released from a volcano as lava and cools, causing the silicon dioxide within to crystallise. Aventurine can also form in geothermal waters high in silica. High temperatures and pressure can cause the dissolved silicon dioxide to become saturated and crystallise.
